Well, as if it lacked projects on my bench, I decided to restore my Challenger. This car was one of the 10 first kits I rode when I entered the hobby, at the time painted it with common spray, at the time had been released the first movie fast and furious, and I confuse the Charger to the Challenger and result was this. -To restore I thought about doing it 100% original, but as I did not get the parts I needed and then I saw that the inside was not able to make it unique (because at the time I glued a piece of leather in seats and trashed them) , rummaged together some pieces and make it through customized it, and as I never made a vinyl roof decided to use a scrap of Challenger even an attempt to make the vinyl roof. I made the seams with strips of 1 mm masking tape. -To crimp the finish I made a low relief and then pasted a fishing line 0.5mm. -Body painted, varnished and polished. -Painted and ready for assembly chassis. -Vinyl roof ready, was not perfect, I could have inspired me the most, but the overall result pleased me, I enjoyed the tone I used matte black and matte varnish on top. The chrome could also have been better, but the laziness I applied direct in matte black, chrome makes no miracle right? -The idea is to use these wheels and tires, more or less in this scheme, as at the time when I rode this car I had already cut the rear wheel housings to fit slick tires I will use new and wide tires on the rear. -For now this is it. I will now go back to bench because it is full. Rodrigo Maia
