This one has been on and off the bench for quite some time now. Got it out a couple weeks ago and decided time to finish it up

This is looking good, both the engine and the body. What type of blue did you paint the body?

Thanks. Hoping to knock out a huge chunk of it sunday afternoon since all my local fishing holes will be filled with campers.
The paint is Tamiya mica blue from the rattle can.

OK, halfpint33, I wish you success today, (Sunday). I just shot some Tamiya primer and paint yesterday. It is just fantastic stuff! Please let us know how it went today. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Well there has been a set back on this build. The blue has been stripped. I masked the body to shoot the black for window seals and when I took the tape off it brought some of the blue paont as well. So it is now being repainted silver. Didn't have anymore Tamiya mica blue and wasn't going to place an order for 1 can. Hope to have some progress pics in a few days.

Yet another setback on painting the body. Thinking it is too humid here on good ol s.e. kansas right now. Sooo, this build is being sidelined until less humid weather.
