Really need to get some started build finished before I go any further on my current projects. So I decided these 2 would be first as they are fairly close to being finished. Red chassis is from the Revell snap Pete kit. My wife bought me this for Christmas the first year it was released. I started it shortly after, got to this point and stopped. Has been in box ever since. The other is painted Testors Root Beer and it is from the re release of the California Hauler kit. I recently bought this from a friend unknowing that the kit was started. What is pictured is what has been done to it. Both should be able to finished relatively quick.....I hope. Here is a few pics

I'll be interested in seeing how the rest of the builds go for you. I'm not a truck builder but I always check them out at any model contest I go to. I don't build them but I really like them. Looking forward to seeing your progress!

Wow almost a month and still nothing to show. With OT at work and helping my brother on the farm for corn harvest my time has been limited. I have a 4 day weekend this weekend so I'm hoping to get some progress on these 2.

Hang in there Halfpint33. For me, Summer is not the best time to build models. There is always something to do outside and Summer is when I normally take vacation. Although I am not a big fan of Winter, (born and raised in North Dakota), I look forward to the quality bench time I get in.

Wow almost a year since my last post. Drug the snap Pete back out and started back on it. I was going to strip the paint cause it was so so but decided not to so I could see how I had progressed in my building over the years. My wife bought this kit for me when it first came. So the paint was done many years back and not as good as I am capable of today. Anyhow I got the all the bright work airbrushed "chrome" today. Also decided to use the Mobius wheels/tires on it as well.
