Hi friends, since the assembly of the Mustang is stopped, I decided to start a new project.
This time will be the Cadillac Seville 1958
I bought this kit as used a while back, the kit itself was brand new but came without a box, without manual and without the decals.
When I bought the kit it was supposed to be Cadillac Biarritz, which is the convertible version of the car, but it was only a short time when I started the assembly that I discovered that this is the Seville, which is the hardtop version of the car.
Because of this I was a bit disheartened to start the project, because the paint I ordered for the car was to mount the Biarritz, so I had to improvise a bit and I decided to ride the Seville itself.
-Reference photos of Biarritz.
-I have a picture of me next to this car taken in 2015.
-Reference photos of the Seville, which may or may not have the vinyl roof.
-Photos of inspiration for the project, which can never be missed.
-The color I had in mind for Biarritz was the color Alamo Beige.
-But since this car has a hard roof, and it comes separated from the body, I decided that it would have the vinyl roof, but that's when I had a problem.
With some research, I discovered with the color Alamo Beige, does not have the optional vinyl roof, but the color Desert Bronze has this optional.
-The two colors are similar, and that's where I had to improvise a bit, but this will only explain better ahead of the project.
-Here are some photos of the kit. The kit is very simple and has some flaws that I will improve during the assembly.
To be continued...
