I like it, OC! I admittedly have fallen behind on NHRA racing. I haven't watched a televised event in a long time. I have not seen this livery before. Pretty cool! I am a Incredibles fan since I saw the first one. I'm guessing this is a real car that was used to promote the movie?

Thank you for the nice comments John. Like you, I have totally given up on watching (and following) NHRA drag racing. Cookie cutter race cars, too much politics, artificial race lengths, all about money money money, tv coverage that pays less attention to the racing than to trying to make issues with the competitors, etc., etc. The model car is a total phantom. No real car with this livery ever existed. I had a spare Camaro resin body, a donor Revell funny car kit, and an extra sheet of Winscals decals for the Incredibles Nascar Monte Carlo. So this is what transpired. I'll tell you sir, I really miss the days of drag racing for the love of the sport rather than for the love of money. Looks great, OC! Actually, they both do. Thanks David, just got your texts, kinda figured I'd find you here. This site is really pretty dead, but thankfully John Brolin keeps it open. I'm really tickled to hear from you, and I hope all is well with you and your family. We're doing okay, staying home as much as possible. But, like you, I'm still working ..... operating the computer and printing payroll checks for all our customers. The computer and distribution group is the only department in the building (all the others are working from home) ..... I could get to like being here without all the other clowns running around. North Carolina is under "stay at home mandate" until the end of April. I'm making plans to get some modeling done. Great to hear from you sir. Please stay in touch my friend. John |
