I have heard of this site for years and I finally decided to join up and to check this place out. I see some familiar handles here from other places that no longer exist. I hope to rekindle some old relationships and show you folks what I have been doing now.

Welcome aboard, mrmike! Your handle is familiar to me but I’m not sure where I’ve seen it, maybe MCM forum. Currently it is slow here but it only takes a few people to get it going again. I’m looking forward to seeing your work!

Thank you Sully and John! I will post some of my builds for you folks to look at. I like to build a little bit of everything and I even do some very amateur writing on the side.

Hey, mrmike, I am going to set some time aside to check out you posts. It is nice to have some new builds to look at! For some unknown reason, (I think it was a software update), I can no longer take pics from my phone and upload them to Fotki, (Fotki is working on it). When it is straightened out I will be able to add a couple of builds myself.

Thanks guys! Maybe my being here will help some by bringing out other builders, I just can't really say. I'm hoping that things will pick up around here as it does seem to be pretty dead. Like I said earlier, I had heard of this place for years and now if things don't pick up, my time here may be limited by any interest involved. I know that there are many things working against dedicated forums like this one, but with the proper motivation, maybe we can bring this forum back. The extortion by Photobucket has left many in the cold, but there are other photohosting sites out there. Doing a search for one that fills the needs of the user will help greatly. Unfortunately, many people have become too lazy to be bothered. It is hard for an outfit like Proboards to compete with the likes of Facebook who seems to have almost limitless resources. I can't do it alone. I also need the Admins to help bring this forum back.
