I know this is an airplane but it will go together with my Tom Daniels Red Baron car. May try to scratch a remote for it and display it as an rc plane. First wip since I got back, feels good  Its just a start. Forum is back! Thanx John! |

Ok, gonna try to get away with not painting this one. Gonna try to fill these gaps with stretched sprue.    Ill try to sand it out and coat with future. Painting don't go too good outside around here this time of year. |

Well, started trying to fix some gaps. the sprue kind of worked.  Then I realized there was allot more to do. So I broke out the ol mr surfacer.  I'll use acetone to clean it up. I will have more puttying to do. Guess I'll have to paint now. Thats cool. |

I have been using Mr. Surfacer for the last year or so. I have 500 and 1000. My 500 is starting to dry up in the bottle. You triplane is a cool little project!

Built the same car when I was a kid but never build the plane back then. I noticed allot of the military guys were using the surfacer stuff so I picked some up a while back. I like it. I did just throw away my first 500 bottle cause of drying up, got another. My old 1000 is about of thick as the 500 now. I'll use it until it dries up.

Its a little thing. Smaller scale than a Hot Wheel. I remember it when it came in the Red Baron kit when I was a kid. Now that im older it'll look like a little rc plane beside our car kits. Hope I can save the decals!
