Good luck guys, I will be checking in to see the finished pics.
Been a loooong time since I have even thought of building a model. The 24 hour builds sounds like a great time and it looks like you guys have picked up a few builders in the past few years.
Have fun guys, Willie looking forward to seeing the Ford, gonna be pretty sweet.

well........the 24 hr build is over. i didn't get mine finished but i learned a valuable lesson........................when on a time schedule, don't build a lindberg kit. i spent more time fixing/scratchbuilding parts than i did putting things together. i had a great time though and will finish my project up this week. a big congrats to all who entered/finished the build off.

Had a chance to look through some of the builds...after I recuperated a bit! Awesome job all! Was a little shaky this morning trying to attach windows and chrome bits. Broke a chrome trim piece, so just left them off. Ended up making it a curbside. I'm surprised the rear end didn't pop off when I was taking the pic. the glue was still not cured...actually, nothing was! Spent most time cleaning up the parts, wore out molds. Anyway, It was quite enjoyable. Not bad considering I haven't put one together this fast in probably 40 some years! Had fun and hopefully will be able to kick it again next year! I will chose a newer kit next time.

Well i didnt finish this year yet again LOL but i never sat out to build a complete model this mostly cause i could never make up my mind what i wanted to build so i started a new 4X4 project my goal was to try and finish the frame down i was moving along ok i guess being that every part was either scratch built or modified in one way or another then the worse happend i droped it caught it and broke the frame and springs on one side back to zero i had to go but hey its all part of the game huh my girfriend Donna had far better luck than i she did her build in about 7 hours way to go hun and she started another but had alot of fit issues and stopped for a while but to all those who finished CONGRATS!!!!! give yourselves a pat on the back after looking through all the sites alot of very good work was going on already cant wait till next year to do it again maybe i'll have a kit to build heck i've only got around 250-275 to choose from Thanks to all who started this 6 years ago glad to be a part of it Willie

Great job Guys!I just got up from my 7 day rest after the build .... Us old people need our rest you know. Looks like everyone did a great job. I didn't read much about builders taking a nap during the build, and from what I see in the final models, looks like no one had the time to. they look great. Well I figure I'd post a few of my photos of the Queen Manx. I didn't get it under paint until 2:00 am. Lots of body work. The fenders were widened by a scale 1 1/2". The rear of the tub was resloped 15 degrees to about 45 degrees. Recessed headlights were added within the hood. On to the photos ...... So what's left to finish? Well, the whole interior for starters. Side panels, dash, seats. Then I can start to think about the windshield. I need to make a new rear bumper and finish up the exhaust. I'm also planning to add a little more detail to the engine and polish out the body a bit. I'll probably put another 12 hours into it. Look for it at the NNL East, and I hope to see a lot of yours there also. Maybe we can get us and the models together for a group photo. So how many days till the next 24 hour build? I'll be posting an announcement for the 7th 24 hour build sometime today. sign up early!
