Sorry to hear about the accident James. I know it doesn't help much but it could have been a lot worse. Glad you are o.k.

Initial estimate without opening the hood (for fear it wouldn't close again and render the vehicle inoperable) is just shy of $6k. I have a PPG Certified Body Shop literally 7 doors up from me, and he did good work on our old SUV that got rear-ended. So just waiting on him to come down and scope out the damage...probably gonna take 2-3 weeks to get it back depending on how long it takes to get the parts in...and man is it a lot of parts!

Went over to Gary's last Friday where he had been holding the M-B and MR-S for me. I was distraught to see that he only had 3 tires for his truck, so I felt obligated to supply him with enough cash to afford the 4th one. O.K., O.K., that's an exaggeration, but the actual explanation of the 3 of 4 tires was far less plausible.

Great seeing you James. As far as the tire story, I ordered 4 tires for my SUV from a mail order source. 3 came the Friday Mr. Duff visited. 1 came the following Monday. Why? ?? We will never know. Thanks again James!

My haul from this past weekend! All models are still sealed on the inside. The GMC Astro has the optional turbine engine and is still sealed on the outside. One of the Parts for Pickups is still sealed on the outside. The Quicksand is still sealed on the outside. The GMC Jimmy and Jeep are still sealed on the outside.

Nice! I built that red Kenworth, and the Movin On truck when I was a kid. Took pics with my parents 35mm camera in the driveway. Wow, that jarred some fond memories! I need to see if they still have those pictures somewhere.

Here's what I bought myself (that I have on hand) for my birthday and from family. I got another instructional DVD set for airbrushing, the Moebius Hudson Hornet and F4 Phantom kits, then went to Office Max and bought myself a digital projector for airbrushing larger things, and went to Michaels where they had most everything 40% off so I bought a table top and free-standing easel's for airbrushing, along with 7 canvas's to spray up. I also ordered myself the AMT Model t reissue and Hasegawa Champawa 1/12 Honda Moto GP bike, and lastly ordered a tool set for disassembling most any game system or controller for airbrushing along with another "How To" series art book. I also went and saw Sherlock Holmes and Girl With The Dragon Tattoo which are both well done movies.

Ollies has gotten in another huge batch of the 1/4 size touch-up spray cans. So I rid them of 60 cans of them Which cost me about what 6 full-size cans would cost at the Auto Parts store.
