Been working backwards on this for me. Started with the body this time. Glued the front and rear panels on, not too bad for the age of the kit, but still needs putty work. I think I'm gonna take a breather from the body work for a bit and work on the engine.

Cut the pick a little longer than the rivet, then stuck them through. Here they are mocked up in the car.

Got the engine mounted, sits a little high on the rails...worries me a liiitle. Driveshaft is about an eighth of an inch too short, but the floor pan and frame will cover it. I'll still extent it a bit but I never new the shaft went above the frame on these old Vettes...strange fit. I have some bolt heads from my carb kits for the engine mounts to add. Actually not a bad kit for its age so far.
