Im so ready for the build. Got my PE parts and other stuff ready. Picked up detail paint today. Will get new filters and last minute items next Friday. Cant wait to see how long Jeremey lasts. Any bets on how long he lasts? I say he makes it all night and finishes his build.

I am slowly heading back to the house after being up in Maine and down in San Antonio over the past 12 days (guess which weather pattern I enjoyed more...). Gotta get a few different paint items, and then head over to Mart of Wals and get the tackle box I was eying up as a mobile storage solution. Then hope for someplace warm...and hope this 24hr crash build gives me some motivation to actually build some of the things I started in the fall, and then stared at and ignored so far this winter

Opps you asked how I was doing z. Well better until yesterday. Had a panic attack and could not breath again. worst part is we build in the basement and my puter is up stairs and the steps about kill me . So posting would be the hardest part.. Still can't make it more then 8 - 10 hrs without a nap

Willie: Sounds like your all ready to me. Any background music or TV/movies? Remember, coverage of the Rolex 24 hour race starts at 3:00 on Speed. 7 hours on Saturday and at least 3 hours during the build on Sunday.
See you Saturday, so to speak!

TV and movies not real sure yet gonna just wing that. I for one dont need a distraction from the build. Knowing me i would get into a movie and then thats it LOL. I might just put it on the race though just for the background noise. Well like you said i'll see yall on Saturday. Take Care everyone, Willie

T-Minus 10hrs 40 minutes to go. Everyone is all tucked in their beds dreaming of building. I on the other hand just got stopped for the night. I also don't have any time to dilly-dally around on this load, so staging my work through the weekend is going to be important. The biggest obstacle I see right now is the fact that the entire 600+ miles I plan to transit tomorrow is faced with the exact same weather, and same high temperature. 31 degrees! I'm going to attempt some work arounds of that situation but have to take into consideration being to high from automotive paint fumes to drive ;D Also this is significantly less space than I'm used to working with... Push comes to shove I will still enjoy the "24" and will paint the body when I get out to Oregon where it's supposed to be in the 50's when I get there. Ready...Set....

So cool Mr. Duff. Whats your 20? I am in Iowa for the rest of today and tonight. 306 miles of rolling hills...not even corn to look out today. Got to the place in Illinois I had planned to rattle-can paint and it was in the middle of getting a snow squall!! First building stop of the day was... I got another 5 hours to run yet tonight, and then I'll be hammering out as much as I can get done...gonna try my cold weather painting idea on the chassis pan and see how it turns out. Gotta get back on the freeway... www.flickr.com/photos/policecararchives/sets/72157625640974375/
