I got some more "Stuff" in the mail this week. Check it out. To add even more to my Tamiya Ninja ZX-RR, a Top Studio Super Detail-Up Set. Sweet! ..... and for my Fujimi Ferrari 599, window masks, 20" wheels, and a set of decals to build the 599 Porcelain Ferrari. Here's a photo of the real car. Can't wait to get started on this one.

Picked this up on sat. Just a slight wash, and detailing the taillights, will make it pop.

Added these to the unbuilt pile this month. Thought this one was kindof neat. I built this one when I was a kid, so am reliving my youth. Got them both for a $10.00 bill.

These arrived this morning from ebay. ;D I built a Boot Hill Express in my youth and had been after one for a while. The engine has been started and the skeleton and a lamp are missing but apart from that it looks to be all there. The Buick's just a great looking car. I couldn't resist it.

Nice scores fellas! Think I've built that Arizona kit when I was a kid. The Piper is neat, and 1/48...really cool! Never built the Boot Hill, like the wheels and tires. The Riv's nice...lucked into one of those last weekend. My son stopped over and gave me all of his old model stuff. He's had a good job for a few years and don't have the time. Maybe he'll get back into it down the road...like I did....Anyway... These three are complete kits. old x'mas presents. All the rest have had parts started, and scattered about And this is where most of the parts of those kits went The blue Chevy truck on top of all the mess is my Sons first experimental building and airbrush job. Wanna restore it for him.

This is some of the things I scored this weekend. Got this one for 2 bucks. Also added these 3 rigs. This one is absolutely gorgeous. 39 Peterbilt for the tractor. Plus a couple of more building kits. Got these on the auction at the benefit. Half a gas tank. The guy buys these, and restores them and uses them for pin-striping practice, along with the plexiglass pieces.

Timj have you looked at the Mercedes kit yet? It is a beautifully engineered kit. Very nice indeed! I saw a build of the Audi on another board and it was absolutely stunning. The builder said it too was a great kit. You will have to let us know what you think of them.

I've only had a quick look in the box so far but looking at the instructions they do look very nicely detailed kits. The Mercedes may be making it's way onto the bench soon, I hope I can do it justice.

Hey timj, you are getting a nice collection going. It doesn't take long before you realize you have more than you can ever build!

I know, I could do with not buying any more for a while and taking some time out to get a few on the workbench.

These arrived today. I've been after a Prowler for a while now and I last built an AMT 55 Nomad (as a pickup) around 30 years ago so that was a nostalgia buy.

The old saying "Keeping up with the Jones'" will now be changed to "Keeping up with timj" Funny you should say that as my surname actually is Jones. ;D I don't know about keeping up with me, I think I need to slow down a bit as I had three more arrivals today.

My Christmas haul. Most also contain aftermarket photoetch and decals. What did you receive? What did you give others?

No plastic or any model related stuff this year. I did by myself this with Christmas money. Best investment I made. Loads of fun. Already started adding upgrades. Traxxas 1/16 Slash 4x4

Hey Gary, some of those kits look familiar. Bobby, that truck looks like it would be a blast! I bet you could drop a small fortune in upgrades to it.

I paid $100 for the truck ready to run. Thats half price. I have about $75 in upgrades. Just want to make it a durable toy to play with. Its wicked fast now but as soon as I add the newer batteries look out.
