Here are my scores this week. I bought the first two items off of Ebay I have in over a year. I got two vintage Paasche airbrushes. One's a side-feed and the other is an illustrator's brush from year's past. Extra bonus is the mother of toilet seat handles. I dig these. Now ot see if they work when I get them. Attachments:

Picked up a few things this weekend on a trip to the Twin cities. I added six more semi trailers. Here is 2 of them all of the same. Needed more man power, and some new equipment for another on going build. Notice the one guy with coffee, and a donut. This needs some more painting. Next is some fence, street signs, and some lamp shades.

Nice score on the airbrushes! I wouldn't mind doing HO scale, but with my eyes these days, 1/32nd is about my limit!

Pickup up this bunch yesterday. Drove 350kms (about 220 miles) but it was worth it. Each box contains a glue bomb of what's pictured.

I have not updated this thread as much as I should. I have gotten some great kits since my last post here. BUT! I had to share this model. I got an e-mail from one of the internet hobby stores I buy from. This was a "Just Arrived" item. How cool is this?!?!

I just had this delivered to my house today via the good 'ole USPS. I have read about Gator's Grip glue on a ship modeling board that I lurk on. Gator's Grip is a PVA glue that is thicker than Elmer's glue and has a stronger bond. It has a shorter working time than Elmer's. It has a longer working time than CA glues but not as strong of a bond. According to the MFR it was created for photo etch and that is why I bought it.
I have used both the normal and thin Gator's Grip and I like what I've seen. I would recommend it to anyone working with a lot of photo etch that needs to be positioned or attached in multiple areas.

How cool is this?!?! I needed to get paint for my Bismarck project. (It can be found under the ship section further down the board). So I'm doing my research for the correct colors. I want to use acrylics and I want them to all be from the same MFR. I was having trouble finding all of the colors from one MFR and/or finding them in stock. I came across Lifecolor paint and found that they had a package deal. I found that several vendors had the set in stock. One vendor also had their primer and thinner. Here it is. I will let you know how I like the paint in my Bismarck build thread.

Still building my slot car collection. Found these '69 Chargers at Hobby Lobby this weekend. FYI: I do buy old AFX and Aurora cars and collections whenever I can find them.

OK, I have a silly question. How do they market the car on the right as a "General Lee" when there is nothing on it that even hints that it is the General Lee? I know there is all of the flap about the Confederate flag, but it is too soon for the removal of all things with the flag on them.

Well I guess there was an episode called "Happy Birthday General Lee". I have not seen it myself, but I assume the car was painted all black. Anyone with and info on this, please chime in.

I'm a little bummed. I had ordered some Tamiya paint for my planes that go on the Bismarck. I ordered three colors in their XF line, XF-23, XF-26 and XF-27. What did I get today? X-23, X-26 and X-27. I'm not sure about you, but I don't recall too many WW2 German aircraft painted in clear red or clear blue or clear orange.....

I thought it only fair to post this update. I had ordered this paint from MegaHobby. When the paint arrived and I saw what had happened, I gave them a call. I explained what I thought had happened, (they agreed with me...I'm sure it wasn't the first time something like this has happened to them.) For my part, I was polite on the phone, I asked them if they wanted me to send a picture of the paint I had received and asked them if they wanted me to send it back. On their part, they apologized for their mistake and told me to keep the incorrect paint and they promptly sent me the correct paint, without additional charge.
It is nice to see that their is still good customer service out there. My thanks to MegaHobby!!

I did not get all of these "today" but they are recent purchases. I picked these up at Hobby Link Japan and local hobby stores. If anyone wants to see the contents of any kit, let me know. I am first and foremost a race car builder. I love the colorful liveries and I love doing decals. I am also a closet aircraft builder. If I did not do race cars I would do aircraft. I'm going to get to combine my love of both by building the "Tiger Meet" series of aircraft. I have four more coming and will post pictures when I get them. Up next are re-issues of some F1 kits. Two new Ebbro kits. They are nice! And not to leave out the domestic MFRs and kits.

Great scores! Loving the F1's and I too am a closet plane builder. Have several in my stash and been working on and off on a Tamiya 1:48 Mustang.

More "confessions of a closet aircraft modeler"... . Once I had picked up my first "Tiger Meet" aircraft, I went on-line and looked to see what others had been made. As I stated in the post above, I ordered four more kits. Here they are. One of the kit's decal sheet is actually bigger than the box it is in. They had to slightly curve it to fit it into the box!
