Picked up this new kit. Small scale so will be compatible with my HO stuff. Also I always thought they were neat. Also added these for more storage. Got them at K-mart for $13.00 each.

Hey Tool, I have the same photo booth. It works very well. Most of the photos I have posted of completed models have been in it. I did get a flood lamp that I put over the top of it to shine down on the model. That helped even out the lighting.

These two beauties showed up at my house while I was at the 24 hour build. I could not wait to get home to see them. And for all of you who know me personally, I cracked them both open and drooled all over the plastic .....now who do I contact about replacement decal sheets? ;D

Looks like y'all been adding to the stashes pretty well. John is there an engine in the Red Bull F1? I'll take a look at it tonight after work and get back to you. I guess the best way to answer this is to say "Yes and No". There are two pieces that when put together will make the engine block and tranny. However the engine block is really all of the fairings or covers that cover the engine block. They actually form the inside of the air intake that sits above and behind the drivers head. The rear suspension attaches to this assembly too. There are separate exhaust pipes. If you go to Tamiya's site they have pictures of the kit. I Googled engine pictures and there is not a lot that I could find. I did see the engine covers in some of the pics. Let me know if you have any other questions about the kit.

Thanks John.I seen it on Tamiya's site and didn't think it had an engine but these old tired eyes have been known to fail me from time to time.I will still have to pick one up sometime.

Just received my order. Gonna be interesting using them. I added a penny to the scan to show how small they are.

It took me a couple of weeks to pull the trigger on this one. I found one on the internet for the lowest price I have seen. This will go with the USS Missouri that I have. Ultimately I would like to have the Bismarck and have all three displayed next to each other.

The Reo looks like an original box! The Opel is a rare kit and lends itself to anything from hobby SCCA racer to street rod to NHRA AA/Gasser. It comes with both a 4 and a Buick V-6, either handy for use in an old '30s rod update. Super buys, both!

Recently I made a trade for a load of HO scale fire trucks, so needed a new headquarters for them The ones I have now are rather dated. This is a 2 part kit as the other part is a maintenance shed, that could be used for any type of building.

One of my buds at work brought these in to me the other day. A couple bucks a piece. They look to be complete. Was thinking bout a weekend drag car for the ford, and trying a first shot at chopping and lowering the Plymouth...not sure yet.

At the NNL in Mpls. I picked up these at the swap meet at the show this weekend. The Hudson, and Double Dragster kit I won on the raffle. 1/25th scale kits Misc. kits Event T-shirt This one really intrigued me. It's a Palmer kit. If you're familiar with the old pPalmer car kits you know what I mean. But upon inspection it looks like it should be okay.

Here are some things I scored this weekend at a Flea Market. Auburn Fire Truck This is in relativity nice shape. Next a couple of Tootsie Toys. The USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier. And finally these Marx slot cars. They are a bit rough but interesting. Not sure of the scale, maybe 1/48th.

This is a brand new kit that Walther's just brought out. Has 2 different roof styles back porch, and deck plus extras. if It is as good as I think I see 3-4 more being added. Also picked up some new detailing items. From Faller of Germany some wrought iron fencing with gates. And from JL Innovative some thermometers, clocks, pin-up calendars, and license plates. These are 1/87th scale but look like they may be useable in 1/25th also.
