I got the chassis wet sanded/polished and painted the fuel tank. I probably won't take any more pics of it until after I put it back together. I'll start on the fuel and brake lines either tomorrow after work or Friday. I still haven't figured out a way to mount the coilovers I made although I have a few ideas. I'd like a diagram of a high performance fuel pump system if someone has one.

Ok. I got the fuel and brake lines laid down. The electric fuel pump came from my parts box. The 4-link channels worked out perfectly and the brake/fuel lines look great trailing along the sides of them. The 4-link suspension is now complete. It was a tight fit once I added the coilovers but it turned out fine. I just have to add the disc brakes and connect the flex line to the calipers and the rear end will be complete.

Completed rear end with wheels/tire on and everything fits nice and snug under the body. Now for the front suspension.

I cut off the kit spindles and made new ones. I also modified the rest of the front suspension. All to allow for the wider/bigger wheels and tires. I'll add the brakes and lines later. After mocking up, the ride and stance is where I want it. The engine is from the Revell '06 Dodge Magnum SRT8. The white styrene cut out on top of the engine was made by tracing around the intake manifold (black) from the Magnum. The cut out will be the intake for the supercharger that I will eventually fabricate. The kit intake manifold will not be used. I am also considering a body color cover that will shroud the supercharger and may even protrude through the hood.

These pics are the early stages of a Kenne Bell supercharger that I am fabricating for this build. The engine that I am using is the engine from the Revell '06 Dodge Magnum. The oil pan will be installed in reverse.

Now for a little more on the supercharger assembly. It's took quite a bit more work shaping the supercharger to my satisfaction than I anticipated. After adding and filling with glazing putty or baking soda w/super glue I pretty much have the size and shape I wanted. I fabricated the inlet manifold from layers of sheet styrene fused w/super glue and pretty much went to work with my Dremel, files and sandpaper. Both pieces came out pretty well. I have to do a bit more detail work and figure out how to engrave the proper markings on the supercharger but all in all I'm satisfied. Now I will fabricate the bar and plate intercooler that will sit beneath the supercharger and on top of the intake manifold. So what do you guys think?

Eventually it will look like this for the most part. I have now added the grooved lines on the charger body and added the mounting plate and intercoolor plate. It looks real good. At least to me. I'll get some pics up asap of the progress..

Well I'm basically done with the supercharger assembly for now. I've decided to try my hand at casting resin and what better way to start than with this 4 peice assembly. I have never cast resin before so I'm going to have to read up on it. Eventually I'd like to start offering this supercharger on my site. This is basically my rendition of the supercharger made by Kenne Bell for the Mr. Norm's limited production Super 'Cuda and Challenger based on the new Dodge Challenger.

Though I do question your decision to route you fuel line to the bottom of the tank.


As this would surely be a safety issue, (for obvious reasons).

Just my thoughts on an otherwise super build.

This has got to be THEE COOLEST build I have ever seen! I am truley amazed with the detail.

But I do have to comment on the fuel line coming from the bottom of the fuel tank. Probably too late to do anything, but maybe a rear sump would've worked and looked better? Dunno. Still a KILLER BUILD!

Ok Steve and Michael, you asked for some updates. I know it seems I'm all over the place on this one and I am. I decided to work on the interior tub some. I'll get back to the engine but first I need to practice on some casting because I want to cast the supercharger in resin. Perhaps the whole engine.

I removed the package tray from the interior bucket because it interfered with the rear tubs. Well one thing led to another and I had to remove the molded in rear seats and console. I replaced the rears with the modified rear seats from the Revell '06 Dodge Magnum SRT8. I then fashioned a new sculpted package tray from styrene. You can see the beginnings of a console which will mate to the modified dash of the AMT Chrysler 300C.

Ok, after spraying the rear sear/package tray assembly w/ primer I can see the areas that need more work or filling. Minor fixes. Note the molded in armrest along either side of the rear seats.
