alright guys, I know its taking a long time, but my schedule has been hectic as can be and most of the little bit of time the army lets me have has to go to my pregnant wife. the frame is a step away from getting paint. the ifs is mostly roughed in(the parts are so small I cant really rush it, but im going as fast as I can. Again, Im sorry its taking so long. Im very anxious to see it start to take shape mopar1

I will, its still there for strength until the front end is together, and for transfer case location for building the shafts. Im still waiting to see what this paint is based with so i can thin it down to spray it. again, im having a very hard time finding any extra time to spend building and im sorry. it will take shape soon. mopar1

I gave the my kit to coopdad at the show Sat. Since you are diong engine and drivetrain Gary it should go to you.
Are you going to do any body mods Jason? If not I told Jonh to just use the body from the kit I gave him. Let me know what we are going to do.

it will go to gary next, the only body mods if any will be slight fender trimming, but it will be very little if any.

Gang, I started my part tonight... would have gotten more done but ran out of tube. Gotta hit the LHS soon.
I did make an executive decision... the bench seat was pressed up to the back wall of the cabin. The cage would not fit behind. So, I spent the time casting a pair of offroad seats. Besides, what real crawler has bench seats anyway? John

Sounds good John. Did we ever decide what we were going to do with build when its finished? Do we enter it in some shows or what?

I'm excited. So how do I go about getting it? Gary, PM me with your address and as soon as the cage/bumpers are done I will mail it to you. I am guessing about two weeks. I am throwing in a couple of my Bronco and Jeep magazines in the box for Bobby. You and he can arm wrestle for them if you want to keep a few. John

Sounds good John. Did we ever decide what we were going to do with build when its finished? Do we enter it in some shows or what? I think we decided to "just build" and see what happens. Made a little more progress... Here is the building process of the front bumper: But there MIGHT be a problem. Test fitting the bed and cab, it appears that the frame is warped. Jason, could you do a test fitting and let me know if they all have this "downward bow" to the frame? Reason I worry is the cab's cage and the bed's cage will be attached together. I will need to adjust my cage some to fit your body... not mine. John

Hey Bobby, are we going to use the Super Swampers the kit came with? Reason I ask is I want to add a spare tire carrier and want to be sure I make it so it fits the tire/wheel. John p.s I have the interior cage pretty much done... after third try. I never liked the look of the first two.

Jason (and team), The cages are almost done. Need a little clean up and "detailing" (gussets, "oh sh!t" handles, etc.). I will get the spare holder done tonight.
Because of the frame warp on my kit I have decided to make the cage in the cab and bed be two different cages, ie not tied together. We will need to use my bed because I have drilled holed through for the cage to tie to the frame. Had to go through the dash also. Hope this does not set back anybody's work already.
Who was it that was going to do the interior? Bobby? John p.s. I will include my list of "special instructions" in the box going to Gary.
