Hey guys, What would you think if I started a model, sent it to another member, they did some work or a sub assembly? The they sent it to the next person and it ends up at Bobby's house where he gets to finish or keep it . I thought we could all sign the instruction sheet that will come along with the kit.
Maybe he could hang it in his new model room next to our build? Just an idea, running these sites is tough and I thought it would be a cool payback kinda. Thanks. Doug R

I am touched and honored that you would come up with this idea Doug. Running TMM can be time consuming at times but it's all worth it to have great friends like I do on here. Everyone here is a member of my family. If you do this I would treasure it and display it proudly.

Let me get a couple things finished up and I will start a kit and send it to someone else. I will pick a kit after I have finished doing the off road contest stuff. Give me a few weeks to pick something out. I am thinking of a hot rod type build of a muscle car or truck. Doug R

I will find some likely kits in my collection, then we can pick one to work over for TMM. It will be a cool exercise in logistics and talents.
Ideally a cleanly built and detailed model that represents all of our ideas and skills would be cool.

Hmmmm.....you know, we could have Bobby`s wife "steal" one of his kits for us to build......one that he really likes but hasn`t had time to build.......sorta like "Overhaulin", except with a model kit. LOL!

Cool idea Tommy. Would you like me to pick out 3 or 4 for her to choose from? You guys have no idea how much it means to me that you are willing to do this for me. I promise that if you build it I will keep it and cherish it forever.

LOL! That's a killer idea. We could start it on the east or west coast, then it can make it's way across country to be finished closer to the boggs compound. Choose a kit that you don't mind us modifying? Oh ,and we would need one pristine instruction sheet to be signed by all. Or do you think the sheet with whatever happens on it signed. Yeah Bobby, we can vote on the kit we will do. Or we can make 2? West of you and east of you.LOL! Doug R

This is your idea Doug. If you want a western and eastern build let me know. I will try to get the model room organized this weekend. I will pick out 4 kits and you guys can choose what you want to build. Everyone can say what they want about the other forums but I know in my heart this is the best and most family oriented forum on the web. We may be small in numbers but we are mighty on the family part. Thanks a bunch guys.
Whatever you decide I will display your finished build/builds with pride.

Lets see who wants in and what you want built. We can go from there. I only threw the idea out, best if all of us decide.LOL! I was just thinking of east VS west if we had over 6 participants. Doug

OK Doug here are the models I picked out. Each one has it's own reason why I picked it. If you would like me to explain just let me know. I'm sure no matter which kit you pick it will be built with lots of care. Pic #1 Pic #2

T blazer would need a lift and wheels and tires, pre runner bumper and 2 lights up front. Pro shop 57 would need some 23 and 19" torque thrust 2's shaved body and bright azz aluma yellow paint? Trans am would need a pro touring set up as would the camaro. Dodges would make killer pro street cars as would the crown vick. But the crown vick would look killer shaved up with the amt 32 vickie halibrand 17/20" combo dropped over the tires.Mono-chromatic dark color? Dirt tracker I am not sure other than a clean and weathered build. What are your thoughts on those kits Bobby? I don't know about alot of care.LOL! Doug R

The 2 Mopars because I like Mopars. Always wanted to build a nice street sleeper Mopar. The Crown Vic would make a killer hot rod. The Trans Am is one of my favorite body styles and they make killer drag cars. 79 Camaro just because I have an 81 Camaro. 57 is one of my all time favorite cars and that kit has the photoetch parts in it. Rat Trap Vega was one of the first kits I remember building. Doug you nailed the Blazer. They just look cool lifted.
There you go. My reasons for picking those kits. Can't wait to see what you pick and what you do to it.

I think the 79 camaro should be done by you then. Of course I would like to try the blazer. Reason being, could lift it with new wheels and tires make some bumpers and maybe a full roll cage, then send it to the next guy? 1-blazer 2-crown vick streeted out. 3- a mopar What do you guys think? Doug R If anyone is down with the blazer then lets do it.

Hmmm....I reckon I could do the engine......or maybe the paint......or even both! The Vega is my favorite, followed by the mopars, then the Blazer, but the Blazer concept sounds pretty good. It would be different for me, I`ve never built a 4-wheeler like that before! Whatever Y`all decide will be fine!

How about we do the blazer,I have lots of off road stuff. Maybe some 33 or 35" tires, inside cage with pre runner bumper and a couple lights. I can lift it and do some trim and fit with the front bumper and lights. Then it can go to one someone else for motor, interior, paint? Doug R

It should have a vortec v-6. May end up small block? Send it to me Bobby, and when I get done with my part we can see where it goes next. That way I could mock it up and the next guy can see where we are. Sounds like we could have roadhawg paint, yelo do some cage work,a2race do motor??? Doug R
