Thanks Doug. Can't wait to see it myself. I plan to take it to a few shows and place the story behind it. Make up a lil photo book to go along with it.

I just get myself a borrowed laptop from a friend but it so slow it's almost scary, We had such a snow storm this week, I didn't had time to finish all I wanted to do, I'll make a mad dash at it in the begining of the week and I hope to ship by the end of it... Sorry guys to let you down a bit on that one, it's not my habit to do so but, like I said earlier, I had some set back that keep adding to each other... Everything is find now but would be better if the days where a bit longer LOL

Dont worry about it Rene. You didn't let anyone down. You got to do what you got to do. Take your time. We are not in a race to get it finished.

OK guys, it's been a hell of a week and I didn't had any time to work on the blazer and I felled I hold on to it long enough... I ask and received the adress of roadhagw and I will send it this weekend (hope so) to him. FOr those of you who might be concern of what appennning to me (us, as my girlfriend and me), we are getting our self a brand new house. Construction was supposed to begin at the end of march but, our contractor called us this monday and told us that he want to start next week... Hello! where not ready for that! We still had lots to do before he can start... Lets just say that this week was very long in term of awake time VS sleep time and the stress level is quit hi at the moment...
Had to that some other activities that I'm commited to and that I have to finish and I'm looking for 36 hours day at this time.... At least my home computer is back, I'LL save some time with that....
AT least, all my set back and various source of stress and the lack of time to do what I want is to be better later.... Sacrifice for a better life I suppose....

Ok, guys....Just got started this morning....got the parts all washed up, ready to start prepping the body. I'm going to try to have it prepped and primered before going back to work, then paint it when I get back. I`ll get some pics up next week. I can't remember....who is building the engine?

Ok, got the body smoothed and primered. I removed the body side moulding and the door handles. I`m probably going to go with a simple paint scheme, but with some wild colors! I haven`t decided about the grille....leave it chrome, or paint it body color?? Any suggestions??? Also got the interior ready for paint. I`ll be putting some color on here next week, when I get back. Its really looking good, I think. The body is smooth as glass!! One side of the rear axle had came loose during shipping, but that was no problem, its fixed now. I couldn`t get pics today because the camera batteries were dead, but I WILL get some up next week!

Great! Yeah, I thought I had the suspension pretty tough and glued well?. I guess shipping is not real easy on things.LOL! The wheels are epoxied into the tubes. Can't wait to see it done. I could go either way on the grille. The chrome detailed would look good. Doug

I can't wait to see the finished product. Make sure you take pics of the interior before you paint it. Want to have all the pics for the album I will create to go with the model.

Ok, everybody.....I`ve got quite a bit accomplished this week, and got a lot more to do, but I thought I`d update Y`all and show you a little color. First up, the body, all smoothed out and primered. I did away with the side molding and door handles: Next up is the interior, before and after. The pics don`t show the color that well, but I went with Tamiya TS-46 sand, which is a medium tan. Before: After, painted and flocked: Finally...and I really thought about waiting to show this, because I have some more to do, but here is the color. Bobby, you said you like those wild Mopar colors, so I went with Panther Pink and Lemon Twist! I`m also probably going to put a Sublime pinstripe to separate the colors. I go back to work tomorrow for a week, but when I get back I`ll get started with detail painting on the interior, and sanding and clearcoating the body.

Looks wild Tommy!! I love those 2 colors together. Maybe a bright blue to match the bead locks. I guess I should have left those off. Hopefully the body sits lower when assembled too.LOL! This is really cool seeing it in different stages. Doug R
