We could take progress pics and I could put them in a locked album for only us to see. Then unlock it for Booby after he gets the model. That way the builders can see where we are at and what is coming their way? Doug R

Oh sure keep me in the dark. LOL. You guys do what you like. I will be awaiting it's arrival in WV. Make sure each person thats working on it signs the instruction sheet. Also it might be nice to document as you go along. That way when I get it I can see what it started as and how it progressed. Also that gives me something to display along with the model too.
Let me say again that it means a lot to me that you are doing this. Can't wait to see what your combined minds can build.

Should be fun and a learning experience as it will be much harder to build this way. You know, this forum is about community more than others. Like they say in the UFC-Let's get it on!!!! Doug R If any one has another instruction sheet for the blazer,it would be nice to sign a pristine one and have one to be man handled?

I found this one: look's to be the same. We could use the instruction sheet from this one and keep/signe the one from wildrice in pristine condition...I could send it to who ever need it...

Any objections if this thing accidentally goes 2wd pre runner? I just gave it a bath to get the mold release off it. I picked 3 different sets of wheels and tires to mock up. I am thinking of shaving some excess body parts for full tubing pre runner bumpers. Maybe straight axle 4x4 with 36-38" tires,or 33" usable lift. It has a great votec 4.3 we should keep, maybe modify the exhaust and do a K&N or something.I will try to mock it up and snap picks by this weekend. Doug R John, Jump in Bro.

What if I do the lift and suspension, maybe bumpers. You could do the interior with a cage and those seats. (do you have .080" styrene rod?,I could send some with it) Then we could get someone else to do the engine and trans, exhaust. Maybe another to paint and then someone to assemble the rest? Doug

Doug yeah I got enough of this size rod and it's easy to find for me if I need more... I could do the interior without problem, but if you have a couple more tires and wheels, I would be able to build a custom spare tires rack in the back of the cab, I already have some idea for it... I'm a bit rush by the time now, but s soon as I get back, I will send you my email...

Ok guys . Here are 3 tire choices. Bobby, this will probably be the only time you will see anything. So chime in with your choice? These are 33-36" The Walker evans bead locks and BFG mud terrains are sweet, but the back side of the wheel is huge. This can be down played by painting it black.By the time you get disc brakes and the other things on the chassis you won't really notice. Also I can wipe the white lettering off if desired. I plan to cut the lower valances from the bumpers and do pre runner style bumpers. Rene' I will come up with some spares and a few detail parts for a roof rack if needed. Doug R

Lets go with the huge azzz M/T baja claws. They are about 36" not really real for this rig,but they are cool and I have resin cast spares to match. I will try to lift it accordingly if I can. Yes the desert duelers are more of a true tire size for this vehicle. Maybe I will try that tire and a different wheel first. Doug

Ok guys, I kinda started today. I did a little body moding and picked the wheels and tires. Anyone care if we do or do not have a locked album? I was thinking it might be cool for anyone to see what we are up to. And Bobby can follow along while we trash his kit.LOL! Here is one mock pick. The wheels will be Walker Evans bead locks that almost no body has so that will be cool, they are also a really current 1:1 off road wheel bead locked. Next the tires will be Mickey Thompson Baja claws, both are done in white resin but don't worry they will look sweet painted and weathered a little. This is the ride height I will shoot for, thinking of scabbing an aoshima toyota front suspension under it? Doug Doug R

Looks real good so far guys. Wish I could get in on this one but I don't know enough about 4x4's and my time is so limited especially with the baby due next month.
